Tribe AAA Team in Columbus!

My blog is going to contain a bit of everything.

I am a big fan of the Cleveland Indians and have been since growing up in the Cleveland area. Something that seemed imminent came to fruition recently. The Columbus Clippers are now the AAA team for the Indians!!!

I would go to a Clippers game now and again. To be honest, I really don't care for the past couple Major League teams that were affiliated with the Clippers though [Yankees and Nationals.] I have been waiting for the day when the team would move from Buffalo to Columbus. It finally happened.

We are contemplating getting a partial season ticket plan to support the Tribe's farm club. It will be a big year as the Clippers will also be opening their new stadium next season.

Lake County, Akron, and now Columbus as Indians minor league teams in OH? Awesome. Minor league games are loads of fun!

Then here in NC you could see Kinston, and formerly Burlington. Kinston's a tad far for a game (3 hours one way), but they do play just 40 minutes from home over in Winston-Salem quite often. (And once a year Lake County plays a mere TEN minutes from home when they come downtown to play Greensboro.)
